Photography

The feeling: a real bedroom on a bright morning. Clean natural daylight, whites and soft greens, wool, cotton, oak and stone. Rooms that look lived in and calm, not staged. Bright, inviting, modern, premium.

Do Don't
Soft daylight from a window, clean and very slightly warm Flash, hard studio light, blue shadows, orange or yellow casts
Whites and greens dominate the frame Brown, beige or dim rooms that read heavy
Natural materials: wool, cotton, linen, oak, rattan, stone, plants Chrome, glossy plastics, neon, busy patterns
Calm, uncluttered compositions with space for a headline Every inch filled
People resting naturally, relaxed, often turned away Posed stock smiles, people staring at the camera
Greenery as a quiet accent (olive, fig, fern) Fake plants, tropical over-styling
Textures up close: fibres, weave, grain Heavy retouching, plastic-looking skin or fabric
Modest, respectful styling suited to the UAE Anything that would feel out of place in a Dubai home

Colour grade recipe

Apply to every photograph, render and AI image before it is published.

  1. White balance: clean, very slightly warm. Whites read as white or Linen, never blue, never orange.
  2. Shadows: lift slightly (+10 to +15). No crushed blacks.
  3. Greens: fresh but not neon. Desaturate 5 to 10% so foliage sits with Sage and Fern.
  4. Blues: desaturate 20 to 30%. Skies and windows pale and neutral.
  5. Contrast: soft. No HDR look, no heavy clarity.
  6. Test: place the image next to a Sand swatch and a White swatch. It should look bright next to both, and not brown next to White.

Product images

  • Rooms: daylight bedrooms in whites, soft greens and pale oak. The Natural Harmony lineup images are the benchmark.
  • Cut-outs: on Sand (the website product ground) or Linen. Never grey. Pure white only where a marketplace demands it.
  • Consistency: the same camera angle, height and light across a range, so models compare fairly.
  • Truth: the product in the picture must be the product we sell: layers, fabric, stitching, legs and headboard exactly as made.
  • Corners: 16 px rounded corners on the website, 3 mm in print, 32 px on social (full-bleed images excepted).

Botanical line art

A light, hand-drawn line illustration of leaves, fern fronds, wool fibres and grasses. It brings the natural feeling into print and social where there is no photograph.

  • Colour: Fern on White, Linen, Sand or Pale Sage. Pale Green on Forest Ink or Deep Green.
  • Line weight: 1.5 px on screen, 0.5 to 0.75 pt in print. Single weight, no fills.
  • Use at the edges of a layout, running off the page, covering 20 to 40% of the area. Never behind body text.
  • One motif per layout. Never a repeating wallpaper on the website.
